Paragon Home Healthcare is looking for a Day Shift Support Carer for a wonderful client based in thames ditton, surrey KT7 area. You will be working with a lady, who has MND and is not able to communicate verbally so uses eye gaze to do this.

She loves chatting and laughing with her carers and needs time to get messages across using her eye gaze system. She also loves being outdoors when she can get out with her family and her family mean a lot to her. She used to love playing tennis, reading science fiction books and cooking for her family. She listens to audiobooks and love to watch films with her carers. You will be working on 8 hour day shift to support the lead live-in carer.

With this client, you'll be engaged in a Rota of 3-4 or more shifts per week. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home. To support your journey, we provide comprehensive training, equipping you to excel in your caregiving role.

Job type: Day Shift - 9 AM-5 PM (8 hrs)

Pay rate- £16.76 per hour (weekday) & £20.11 per hour (weekend)

Care Job Overview

As a Carer (sometimes referred to as a Personal Assistant), you will assist the client with daily care, activities of daily living, and mobility needs. Specific duties will be detailed in the Client's care plan and daily activities, managed through our electronic visit system. Responsibilities include personal care, spinal injury toileting, mobility support, meal preparation, and more. Comprehensive training and support are provided to ensure you can deliver the necessary care.
