About the Role:
Are you a compassionate and engaging individual looking for a rewarding live-in care role?
Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Live-in Carers to provide specialised spinal cord injury care for our clients in England, especially in and around London and Sussex. Our clients reside in their own homes or independent accommodations, all conveniently accessible by public transport.
Some clients have pets (cats or dogs) for companionship. Confident drivers are preferred, as you may need to assist clients with transportation to gym sessions, local visits, or appointments.
🫶 Live-In Care Responsibilities
Assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and daily living activities.
Provide support with spinal injury care and encourage independence.
Observe and record the client’s health status, and ensure their safety and well-being.
Arrange transportation for appointments, outings, and travel when required.
Job Details:
📆 Rota & Pay:
Rota: Shifts are usually between 2-4 weeks live-in at a time. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home.
Pay rate: £134.31 - 159.13 per day
Travel allowance: Competitive travel allowance for each placement.
Food allowance: Competitive food allowance per day, if applicable.
Training & Support:
Paragon is a specialist provider of spinal cord injury and complex care. You’ll receive full training before you start, and where possible, time will be given to get familiar with the care routine. No previous experience with spinal care is needed.

You will be engaged in a 2-week live-in assignment, succeeded by a 2-week rest period. Following 1-week rest, you have the option to work with another client for 1 week. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home. There are also opportunities for longer placements of up to 4 weeks at a time.
To support your journey, we provide comprehensive training, equipping you to excel in your caregiving role.
